While I started with meditation on my own, looked into quality of food, biggest challenge was to find a Yoga Guru. I was fortunate that I was introduced to my Yoga Guru Sh. Akshey Koushal within few days of my releasing the intent to find one.
Sh Akshey Koushal taught me Hatha Yoga for nearly 3 years. It was my fortune to have known Sh Akshey Koushal.
He was below 30 years when I met him and looking at his life routine, his quest for perfection in Yoga, his knowledge and vocabulary and in-depth understanding of anatomy gave me an indication that this Guru is an “Old Soul”. He spent around 8 years of his childhood in various Ashrams in Rishikesh and Uttrakhand. While learning Yoga, in addition to my physical aspect, he spoke quite a lot on metaphysical aspect which was intriguing for me.
Akshey ji, as I call him, is a handsome looking young man, with knowledge of a 100 year old man, has no attachment of any sort whether with a person or money or matter which is quite unusual for a person of his age in the current reality.
He had good clientele in Delhi but still he chose the path of his heart, did advanced courses in McLaudganj in Dharamsala and now he teaches Yoga at McLaudganj in summers and at Goa in winters.
