CAPTAIN RAVEE started globe-trotting in 2001-2 to analyse the trends of security industry world over and visited around 10 countries. He found that the trend in security industry was very similar to India in all these countries also. There were no schools, colleges and universities to train security professionals and those who were working were either from Defence/Police forces or from civil stream who had taken security as second choice of profession.
It is there he decided to establish and internationally accredited Training Institute benchmarked with International Standards. Orion School of Security & Intelligence Management was established in 2007 by Mr Gerald O’Connell, QPM and CAPTAIN Ravee in partnership.
Today OSSIM is training security personnel of major business houses of the country and simultaneously is providing security education to students from all over the globe who are getting jobs by doing various courses from OSSIM.
OSSIM is the foremost center of excellence in Asia for education and training in the fields of Security, Safety and Resilience based upon international best practice.
