“WORDS OF WISDOM” BY HIS HOLINESS VANKHANDI MAHARAJ
1. Charging of Heart - With constant thoughts and outwardly chetna, our heart gets discharged as a cellphone gets discharged. We need to charge our hearts with Dhyana.
2. Happiness and Sadness – There is nothing known as Happiness or Sadness, it is just state of mind. If we ask for Happiness, sadness will follow pursuit as it is a part of it. Fire is always accompanied by smoke.
3. Attachment – There is no reason to get attached with any matter or being. A bird makes a nest and is always on guard and fearful of being harmed whereas a monkey does not make any house, he is free and is always joyous.
4. While having food, we must keep in mind that there are three parts of the stomach – one for Air, one for water and one for food.
5. Simran– There is so many people in this world. Those who constantly take his name, he attends to them.
6. Animals – All the animals are inferior and weaker to Human and thus take human to be God. As you treat animals, God would treat you.
7. Religion – Religion was never made for animal kingdom and thus it was created only for human to understand God from anyone of the doorways.
8. Thoughts – Keep thoughts only in four walls of your room, then limit them to your body and then they would go deep inside.
9. Body – Keep the body healthy without which it would be difficult to connect with God.
10. Master – Keep the master in your heart thus, whenever you remember him, he would be there.
11. Past - Leave the past, just delete, for new things, old has to be erased. For example – on a PC hard disk, if all the old data is accumulated, it won’t write new data, thus the old data has to be erased.
12. NAAM - Nirantar EK NAAM ko rakho. Hriday khali mat rakho. With this no other thought comes in and energy is retained.
13. Things - Keep only those things which are required on your path, rest leave everything else.
14. Pure Souls - When we came as souls to this world, we were clean and pure, after entering the world, we got polluted.
15. Toys - All relationships are “ Maya”. An example – A child who gets busy with his toys does not call for the mother, whereas the other child who leaves the toys and calls for the mother, mother picks him up. Similarly, all the objects and matter in the world are like toys and God is the mother. Those who get busy with these toys do not call for the God.
16. Speak less- Speak only that much which is essential for day to day life. An example, a labor breaking stones and a leader giving lecture consume same amount of energy.
17. Concentrate on your master only so that you see everyone and everything as your master.
18. Clock is required only for sleeping, waking up and for having food, rest it is never required.
19. Leave the bed one hour before sun rise. Not to sleep during sunrise and sunset. Best time to get up is between 2 am to 5 am.
20. Concentrate on one master only what ever it may be. Story of sinking boat and various people on the boat remember their respective Gods.
21. GOD - One who is in search of God gets one.
22. Becoming one - One who has got completely inside God, he is completed inside that man, then there is no difference between both, they become one.
23. Test - One who walks on routine, his test is taken by God for sure. He tests you on all the gifts he has given you.
24. Routine/ritual is power - Sadhna niyam se hi hoti hai. Story of the person who watered his plant daily, one day a demon came out and thanked him for releasing him from this curse and asked the man to ask for a boon. The man asked that he wanted to meet Lord Rama. The demon told him that he can’t take him to Lord Rama but he can introduce him to Hanuman. He told him to go to a particular temple and told that there would be recitation of Hanuman chalisa in a hall, he must note the person who would be sitting first and leaving the last. Man found Hanuman and got onto his feet.
25. Onion and Lehsun are herbs. Once cooked they become harmful for the liver. One slice of Lehsun taken in empty stomach daily is beneficial and is good for Vayu. Onion taken raw as salad is beneficial. One cup of milk with Haldi is very beneficial for our system.
26. Never redicule anybody who is physically challenged. Example – Mahabharat started with Draupadi ridiculing Duryodhan as “ Andhe ka beta Andha”.
27. Cleansing - Once we clean our hearts, everything gets cleaned.
28. Animals - Take care of animals as they are weaker. When the human is cursed by weaker, then there is no progress.
29. Sansar- Raho Sansar me par sansar ko apne andar mat aane do.
30. ATMA AUR SHAREER - Keep talking to yourself “Main atma hoon, main shareer nahi hoon. Aisa Chintan karna hai ki yeh sharir mujhe ache karya karne ke liye mila hai. Baar baar chintan karne se abhyaas ho jata ai. Phir jis cheez ka chintan karte hain, uske gun aa jate hain. For example, Cow story – A gwala was taken by Swami Nityanand in his ashram. He kept telling him to concentrate on one God in his mind and heart. The Gwala told him that he can only see cow, thus the swami told him to concentrate on cow only. After few days, Swami called for him to come out of his cottage. He replied “ Kaise aaon swami ji, mere seeng darwaze par lag rahe hain”. The Gwala had converted into a cow.
31. Chintan- During this period, it is very difficult to follow Yam and Niyam. Just keep God in your heart and chintan karte raho which fills the heart with love.
